I should probably have a placeholder entry so this thing doesn't look so broken and empty, yes? Basic story is that for years and years, this was a journal. It was often full of misery or complaining, and then as I got older it was full of sarcasm and the occasional interesting post with some merit and intelligence. Then I got even further along and began to ask why I had a Livejournal. Mostly it seemed that I wasn't communicating anything to anyone (and often not speaking to anyone at all, because the people who matter in my life all hear the news directly from me and in greater detail). Rather, I was using it for personal catharsis, which could be more privately expressed, and all the better for it. So I archived and axed the thing and it's more like a diary in my personal possession and nowhere else now.
I do still regularly keep an eye on the Friends List (it's my homepage on one of my computers), and still regularly suck at commenting (although I sometimes surprise people with a few words). I am now, officially, the Stealthy Moose of Livejournal.
I'm louder elsewhere on the internet. My regular public haunts are:
* Prophecy of the Circle, my once-a-week webcomic.
* My DeviantArt
* Magpie's Gold, my Tumblr for doodles.
Occasionally used public places:
* My Twitter
There are other places, but they're either private or more like once-in-a-blue-moon haunts and not worth mentioning.
